Matka (The Journey)

 

 

 

Matka ”The Journey” was a concert series focusing on musical tales about inner and outer journeys. The concerts were held in Helsinki, Oulu and Verona during the fall 2014. In one of the concerts mezzo soprano Marika Kivinen and pianist Laura Heikkilä premiered Holmqvist's O notte, o dolce tempo, a solo song to words my Michelangelo.
